Ovechkin wins Hart and Pearson, Bruce wins Jack Adams



Alex Ovechkin won the Hart trophy and the Pearson trophy tonite. Ovechkin received 128 of 134 first-place votes, and Malkin was the runner-up.















Bruce won the Jack adams trophy. Boudreau received 31 of 74 first-place votes. Guy Carbonneau was the runner-up, Carbonneau had 24 first-place votes.








Backstrom was the runner-up for the Calder trophy. Patrick Kane won the trophy. Kane received 71 of 133 first-place votes. Backstrom had 30 first-place votes.

I think I was more excited for Bruce then I was for Ovie. I knew Ovie was going to win, but Bruce was kinda a suprise.

Agreed.

BB's win was more dramatic so I was very happy for him. Not a bad speech too. BB's a good communicator.

Bruce's speech was awesome. And Bruce's reaction to when they called his name was so funny. He looked shocked that he won it.
